This is the Pilot episode submited for Video Game Trader Magazine. The publisher said he'll put it in the july issue.

And so the adventure begins and you fine folk get to see it here first. However, I ask that you support VGT and thank them for taking Bargain Brawlers into their pages by getting the july issue. The premise is simple, Sonic and Mario get into a cat and mouse game in the world of video game collecting.

This is the first time I've drawn Sonic the Hedgehog. And like the third time I've drawn Mario. I think I made Sonic look more like Krazy Kat then I did Sonic.

well Mariois used to dealing with spikey foes.
Thanks. Good to hear from a Sonic fan and artist that picked up the sonic style so well. Of course now i have to learn about the sonic universe more to open up more storylines.

It's just how this magazine works, I guess. Most content in mags is usually like 2 or 3 months in production. That's not an uncommon thing. I guess it's one of the reasons that paper mags are going out of business because of the speed that people can access content faster on the internet. That one of the reasons that "tips & tricks" went down.
yeah i guess, but still great getting into a magazine :D

Good stuff, I was always more of a Mario fan, myself. Right now Sonic's in what I like to call the "Fat Elvis" phase of his career.
